Amanda Beres, LPC

Hi! I’m Amanda. I look forward to supporting  you on your journey! My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore and process whatever is coming up for you while we work together to meet your specific goals. I take a person-centered and empowerment-based approach to honor your unique experiences and walk alongside you on your journey of growth and healing.

I have experience working with adults who are navigating anxiety, grief and loss, and general life stressors. I also specialize in trauma-informed care and have extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

I recognize that opening up about life’s challenges can be uncomfortable and intimidating. We will take things at a pace that feels right for you, and I will continue to provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment to help foster trust.

A little about me…

Outside of work, I enjoy reading a good book, spending time with friends, or hanging out at home with my cats. I also enjoy being out in the sun, finding cute coffee shops, or watching a Red Wings game.

I value progress over perfection and believe balance in life helps us show up more authentically. I hope we get a chance to work together soon!
